A Letter to the Future

Let children’s dreams fly into tomorrow.
A Letter to the Future
Where children’s dreams become timeless messages
A Letter to the Future, we invite children to express their vision of an ideal world — one filled with peace, kindness, and joy — through a handwritten letter and, if they wish, an accompanying drawing.
These messages will be carefully archived and returned to the children five years later, when they are older. At that point, they will be invited to write a new letter, reflecting on how their dreams have evolved or remained the same.
At the end of each five-year cycle, all letters will be thoughtfully read and analyzed, culminating in a collective statement drawn from the voices of children around the world — a reflection of their pure dreams and shared hopes.
This long-term artistic project repeats every five years, gradually creating a living archive of imagination and generational growth. It is an opportunity to hear the next generation, to walk beside them as they grow, and to preserve their dreams as messages to tomorrow.
Along the way, parents may choose to have their child gently accompanied by a child therapist — someone trained to act as a kind, long-term emotional companion.
This optional support is part of our Safe Room initiative, and you will have the opportunity to express interest during the submission process.
Children are invited to write a short handwritten letter about their dream world — what they wish the world could be like.
It can be about peace, kindness, happiness, nature, friendship, or anything that matters to them.
There’s no right or wrong way. It can be simple, imaginative, poetic, or even funny.
The only rule is: it should come from the heart.
Children up to age 15 who can write — from anywhere in the world, in any language
Children can write their letters in any language, as long as the handwriting is clear and readable. We celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures.

Letter to the Future Submission
A form to collect children's handwritten letters and drawings for the "A Letter to the Future" project.
About the Project
A Letter to the Future is an independent initiative by Bahram Rameh, in collaboration with the Auravista Movement led by Mozhgan Mahmoodian, a project inspired by children’s dreams and the hope for a kinder world.
It reflects our shared commitment to peace, love, joy, and childlike imagination values that Auravista turns into collective and inspiring action.
With your participation, these letters will become a bridge between today and tomorrow.

A Note from Me
For me, A Letter to the Future was never just an artistic project , it was a personal attempt to listen to that part of us often silenced too soon: the child’s imagination.
In a conversation with Mozhgan Mahmoodian, the founder of the Auravista Movement, she said something that stayed with me:
“I think about the child who still lives within adults.”
This project began from that very place , a desire to preserve the dreams of children who still believe the world can be kinder.
I hope these letters serve as a reminder, not just for them, but for all of us of a voice we should never forget.

A Note from Mozhgan
Sometimes, all we need is to listen , not to the noise of the world, but to the soft voice that echoes from the child within…
That child who still lives inside us.
For me, A Letter to the Future is not only about the children of today;
it’s about all of us.
Those of us who may have forgotten our dreams in the rush of growing up.
This project is an invitation to return .
to hear the simple yet honest dream of a child:
a world filled with peace, color, laughter, and kindness.
The very world Auravista seeks to nurture.
And I truly believe that if we are to build a brighter future,
we must begin by listening to the dreams of our children.
With love,
Mozhgan Mahmoodian
